Lake Level

Paul Myers, Lake Level Committee

As of Sunday, July 7th, the water level of Turtle Lake stood at 1351.52 ft. The range established by the MN DNR is 1351.0 to 1351.8 ft with the midpoint of the range of 1351.4 ft. ideal. As you can see, we are approaching the ideal level but due to the recent heavy rains, the level has hovered slightly higher.

The good news is that regardless of the heavy rains, there has been limited beaver activity so as of July 6, 2019, the river was running freely. We will continue to monitor the situation on a bi-weekly basis.
