Boat Parade Guidelines
ALWAYS on the 4th of July
Begins on the east side (Hwy 38 side) of the lake
Judging starts at 12:30 pm
Parade starts at 1:00 pm
Boats do not have to be decorated to be in the parade
Join in the parade anytime during the route
Ends north of Arcadia Resort
Boat Parade Judging
Judging starts at 12:30 pm
Judging of decorated boats will be done by the TLA board members
Parade is open to all lakeshore property owners but only TLA members are eligible to win
There are 2 categories to be judged: "Patriotic" theme and "Creative" theme decorated boats
Traveling trophies will be awarded to winners of each category
Safety Information
This is for your protection and also for the protection of the other participants in the boat parade.
Please leave adequate room between your boat and the boat you are following.
All boating regulations must be observed (NO exceptions).
NO towing (towable tubes, kayaks, rafts, paddle boats, basically nothing towable) behind boats in the parade.
